Meet the People Who

Grow With Us

At Everyday Foods, we believe good food starts long before it reaches the kitchen. That’s why we work with a small group of passionate farmers, millers, and growers who share our commitment to soil health, sustainability, and community resilience. From hand-harvested vegetables to heritage grains, these partners are the roots of what we make.

We’re proud to introduce you to the local producers who make our breads, meals, and market goods possible.

Root to Rise Gardens

Root to Rise Gardens is a small-scale market garden and homestead run by first-generation farmers Leslie Witter and George Downing. Located just north of Red Lodge, they grow a variety of vegetables using minimal tillage and organic practices. Since 2022, they’ve supplied produce to the Red Lodge Farmers Market, Beartooth Market, and local chefs. Their mission: to grow more fresh food in a cold climate while caring for soil, ecosystems, and people.

Our Producers Conservation Grains

Conservation Grains

Started by Judy Cornell in 2018, Conservation Grains grew from a deep interest in soil health. After converting a portion of her dryland wheat and barley fields to wildlife habitat, Judy adopted zero tillage and diverse crop rotations. Her operation produces stone-ground flours from Montana-grown Warhorse, Snowgoose, and Gazelle Rye—flour you can taste the difference in. She hasn’t used a fungicide or insecticide in over seven years.

Wyoming Heritage Grains

Sara, a sixth-generation farmer near Heart Mountain, WY, grows ancient and heritage grains using regenerative practices: no-till, no chemical inputs, and a focus on rotational grazing. She cultivates nutrient-dense wheat, barley, and corn—grains that are freshly stone-milled with nothing added or enriched. Her mission is simple and powerful: make old grains new again.
